On June 30, 2018, Dell implemented new features to protect data safety and privacy. These improved security measures mean that customers must use a supported browser, and turn on TLS 1.2 in browser settings, to shop on Dell.com.
Which browsers are supported?
Dell.com supports most major browsers that use the TLS 1.2 security protocol, including:
- Chrome 48 and above
- Firefox 47 and above
- Microsoft Edge
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (support may vary depending on your OS and computer)
- Opera 35 and above
- Safari 8 and above
Dell recommends that you install the latest browser version available and keep your operating system up-to-date with the latest security patches.
